Volunteer Work Report

Volunteer work isn't just necessary to graduate high school, I think it is a great way to gain experience and expand your social circle. The first volunteer work that I did was babysitting. On shool holidays I was incharge of taking care of my cousins. I have also assisted in birthday parties, helping with set up and clean up. My dance instructor offered me to help with the birthday parties she hosts at her studio. I thought it would be a great experice and I will also get to meet new people. Lastly, I volunteer in my community's youth association. I have helped plan and organize events. Many youth in my community decided to run this association again, it was running many years ago and we wanted to start it up again. Some events and ideas that we planned were: Christmas Party, Valentines day care, Diwali-o-grams, youth picnic and etc. Overall, I have gained great exerinces and become more responsible from volunteering. In addition, I have met many new people which may also be helpful for when I am looking for a part-time job.
